After years of using the $50.00 "Wal Mart special" radar detector I bit the bullet and went for a high end model. I wasn't entirely sure I'd like it, but boy was I in for a surprise!
It's already saved me from at least 2 tickets and has pretty much cut out the false alerts I had to endure with previous detectors. The one and only thing I might complain just a little about is the buttons. I've had this model for a month now and still have problems remembering the button pattern. Also, the "mar

I am a long time RD fan. Have 3 top of the line detectors from Beltronics. All had issues after 2 yrs with Self Cal so when the last one did this, I decided enough of Beltroncs. Was between V1 and 9500, went with 9500 due to the promotion amazon was having.
This detector is feature packed. Love the voice wording, the GPS lock out, instant speed. BUT when I compared it to my $200 Beltroncs 995, the range was the same! I dont think the features justifies the $300 in retail difference. I am in

i drive through one of the most lucrative speed traps on I-4. I don't speed very often but, i believe it is a game of cat-n-mouse or hide-n-seek..however you wish to look at it. I prefer to know about them before they know about me. reguardless of my speed.
This device is simply awesome. I intend to add the ZR-4 to this in the next 6 months. topped off with VeilG4. you are almost invisible.
